Advocating for children and families affected by poverty in Uganda
Hospitality Haven Foundation aims to improve educational outcomes and livelihoods for children and families affected by poverty in Mukono, Buikwe, and Jinja districts through scholarships, provision of scholastic materials, livelihood programs, and community engagement.
Our Story
We are a dedicated and compassionate organization based in Uganda, committed to addressing the persistent challenges posed by poverty in various districts. Since the early 1980s, these regions have faced significant hardships, including high rates of school dropouts among children due to financial constraints, lack of school fees, inadequate scholastic materials, and insufficient classrooms. These issues are further compounded by limited staff development opportunities and resources, hindering effective teaching and learning. Additionally, children in these regions often face physical, sexual, and emotional abuse, exacerbating their plight.
Hospitality Haven Foundation is implementing comprehensive livelihood and education interventions. Our primary focus is on children aged 3 to 13 years and families affected by poverty who cannot afford school fees and other necessities. Through our “Educate Children Campaign and Fight Against Poverty,” we strive to ensure that every child has the right to education and that impoverished families can afford at least one meal per day. Our programs aim to provide essential support, fostering a brighter future for the children and families we serve.
